Capacity building and academic career development is designated as a central activity of the Midlands Patient Safety Research Collaboration (PSRC).

Our strategy for developing research capacity is proactive, flexible and collaborative, combining tailored training and mentoring with allyship and collective responsibility. It is aligned with the Patient Safety Research Collaboration mission. Our aim is to build and grow a sustainable research environment and recruit, develop and retain diverse research leaders with expertise in patient safety.
